Jennifer Hill is the Executive Director of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. Before joining the Alliance in 2004, Ms. Hill was the founding director of a statewide supportive housing coalition in Florida, where she contributed to the creation of Miami-Dade County’s 10-year plan to end homelessness. She has worked for nonprofit community development groups in Uptown Chicago, San Francisco, and Oakland, CA. Ms. Hill holds a masters degree in city planning from the University of California – Berkeley.

Peggy Troyer Director of Information Systems (708) 236.3261 ext. 2#

Peggy Troyer, Director of Information Services at the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County (CoC for the suburbs surrounding the city of Chicago), has provided leadership for the suburban Cook County HMIS since May of 2008. Peggy has 28 years of experience specializing in information technology that facilitates effective service delivery in nonprofit organizations, a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She holds both the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials.

Jeremy Heyboer Senior Data Analyst (708) 236.3261 ext. 3#

Jeremy Heyboer is the Senior Data Analyst for the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County (IL). He began at the Alliance in 2008 and trains HMIS users, and provides technical support, and trouble shoots data quality issues with agencies across the Continuum of Care. Jeremy has 15 years of experience in Human Services including time spent as a case manager and program director of a shelter for homeless families on the West Side of Chicago. He has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary and credits any data chops he may have to years of studying Greek and Hebrew.

Lynn Suchwalko System Implementation Manager (708) 236.3261 ext. 7#

Lynn Suchwalko joined the Suburban Cook County HMIS Team in November 2013. She came to the Alliance with 12 years of non-profit experience in addition to 17 prior years in the information technology sector. A few of her responsiblities include HMIS User training and support, the HMIS User ticketing system, HMIS project implementation, and the annual Housing Inventory and Point-in-Time Count.

Erin Matheny HMIS Policy & Training Manager (708) 236.3261 ext. 3#

Erin Matheny joined the Alliance HMIS Team in March 2019, after having served as the director of an HMIS implementation in Louisiana for 15 years. She has extensive experience with HMIS and Continuum of Care structure, regulation, and governance. Her focus is always on process improvements for all parties and using data in meaningful, conscientious ways. In Louisiana, Erin helped with the development and merger of a statewide HMIS and was the policy lead for the system for more than a decade. In her new role with the Alliance, she is responsible for providing training and support to HMIS participants for Suburban Cook County. Erin holds a master’s degree in Applied Sociology from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Kurt Runge Continuum of Care Program Director (708) 236.3261 ext. 8#

Kurt has been with the Alliance since December of 2017 and came to us from Washington D.C. More bio to come!

Kathryn Primas Program Coordinator (708) 236.3261 ext. 4#

Kathryn joined the Alliance in December 2018. Her knowledge of the homeless field comes from her experience coordinating a mentor program for homeless teens, working as a case manager for a rapid rehousing program for homeless youth, managing an emergency shelter and transitional housing program for minors, and doing community-based outreach to homeless youth. She studied History at the University of Miami in Florida, where she studied abroad at Edinburgh University in Scotland. Kathryn got her master’s in social work from Boston University, specializing in community organizing. She earned her Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a research focus on youth homelessness.
