The 2016 changes to HUD's HMIS Data Standards are significant and will impact all clients in your projects as of October 1, 2016. Changes included a new choice for Gender, other minor updates, a reconfiguration of the way users collect and enter chronic homeless and client location questions critical to the work of homeless services and a new Homeless Prevention Prioritization tool for SSVF.
